Something Beautiful

Growing up as a child I've always been a fan of robots especially in games, toys or TV shows. Featured in the photo is a 1/100 scale model figurine of a Gundam from a Japanesse TV show in 2008. Whats interesting about the model is that it consist of over 1000 pieces as each individual piece is perfectly engineered to fit together with mobility functions.

  

Great Piece of Architecture

The CH2 ( Council House 2 ) is an office building located in the city of Melbourne. It has possibly been considered the Eco-block of the future, as it was the first in Australia to be award 6/6 green stars in 2005.
The buildings features both aesthetic and functional properties such as; use of thermal mass for cooling, plants/vegetation to filter light, green products and a wooden textured shading device which acts to shade the building at the different angles of the sun throughout the day.

Original Work

This is a 1:200 scaled model of an urban renewal design of the South Western Sydney Institute Granville College. The goal of the project was to create a sustainable retrofit of the old campus buildings. The overall design possess intriguing features such as; lower building emissions, accessible rooftop gardens for teaching urban farming, an increase in ventilation to adapt to the different seasons of the year and a higher energy efficient rating.
